The passenger’s ticket (electronic) is a contract between the passenger and Yazd Airways. And buying a ticket means accepting all the rules and regulations of Yazd Airways on the part of the buyer. This ticket is only valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Presence of passengers at the airport:

Passengers must be at the airport 2 hours before domestic flights and 4 hours before international flights.

Ticket purchase terms and conditions:

The operation of buying tickets on the website of Yazd Airways is subject to the rules and regulations of electronic commerce and any violation will be prosecuted.

Passenger details:

When booking a ticket, the name of the passenger must be entered correctly in English and Farsi letters and the national code (or passport number for foreign passengers) in full. The only way to communicate with passengers for information is through the phone number entered at the time of purchase. In case of entering the wrong number or not answering the call, the responsibility will be with the buyer. (All online and offline travel agencies must include the contact information of the passengers, otherwise, the signature of the wrong company will be closed in all sales systems of Yazd Airways and referred to the Civil Aviation Organization.)

Select age group:

• Infant: (INF) Passenger aged between 48 hours after birth and 2 years of age. These passengers are without a seat or “NO SEAT” and they are not assigned a seat on the plane.
• Child: (CHD) passenger aged 2 to 12 years of age
• Adult: (ADL) passenger over 12 years of age.

The criteria for calculating the passenger’s age is the date of flight.
In case of inaccuracy of the buyer and entering the age category incorrectly, the passenger will be prevented from boarding the plane.
In domestic flights, the child ticket rate will be equal to 50% of the adult net rate and the infant rate will be equal to 10% of the adult net rate.

Ticket payment:

Tickets can be purchased on the website of Yazd Airways’ system flights only with Shetab member bank cards. After making the payment and confirming it, the reservation and purchase is finalized and the ticket information is sent to the buyer via SMS or email.

Passenger identification documents:

The passenger’s national code must be entered correctly when booking. In foreign flights, passengers’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the start of the trip. The passenger is responsible for the correctness of the information and the validity of the visa and passport documents in foreign flights. It is mandatory to carry identification documents such as national card (domestic flights), passport (for foreign flights) and visa (if needed) to issue a flight card.

Airport reception rules and regulations

• It is mandatory to present national ID card or valid documents with photo for domestic flights and passport for foreign flights.
• It is mandatory to present a photo ID for all passengers, including adults, children (2-12 years old) and infants (under 2 years old).
• In order to receive a flight ticket, it is mandatory to present a valid photo identification card (national card – birth certificate).

Conditions for accepting an unaccompanied child:

Children aged 5 to 12 years who travel alone with the approval of their parents or guardians, must be accompanied by their parents or guardians to the office 2 hours before the flight with a photo identification card that proves their legal guardianship. In case of a passenger’s request for a ticket for an unaccompanied child (5 to 12 years old), the ticket will be issued at the adult rate and the “SSR UMNR” must be included.
Note: unaccompanied children must be notified 48 hours before the flight to the central sales office of Yazd Airways.

Conditions for adding a baby ticket to a parent ticket

It is possible to add a baby ticket to the parent ticket by coordinating with the sales offices of Yazd Airways or the issuing agency. It is worth mentioning that passengers with more than one baby (twins) should purchase a child rate ticket in addition to their own ticket.

The accepted age range for issuing a baby ticket is between 10 days and 2 years old
It is forbidden to accept a baby under two days old, and a baby 3 to 6 days old will be allowed to fly with the written consent of the parents.

Conditions for adding a child’s ticket to a parent’s ticket

It is possible to add a child’s ticket to a parent’s ticket only through the sales offices of Yazd Airways. Passengers with more than one infant are required to apply for one infant ticket other than the ticket they have.

• Acceptance conditions for passengers with special medical conditions and pregnant women
  All passengers who are sick or recovering after surgery, if they do not need special care and use medical devices during the flight, will be allowed to use the flight by presenting the certificate and permission of the attending physician.
  Pregnant women up to the end of the 32nd week of pregnancy with a medical certificate stamped by a gynecologist and obstetrician indicating health, are allowed to travel by plane, gestational age and estimated date of delivery, are allowed to fly.

  The maximum carry-on baggage with the passenger to be carried in the airplane cabin is 5 kg with the maximum dimensions of 35 x 55 x 25 cm, and the sum of the dimensions of each package should not exceed 115 cm.   The amount of baggage allowed in Yazd Airways flights is as follows. For domestic routes, it is 20 kg for each adult passenger for all economy rate IDs and each child (2 to 12 years), and 25 kg for business rate IDs and 10 kg for each baby (under two years old).
  For international routes, for each adult passenger and each child (2 to 12 years old), 30 kg for all economy rate tags and 35 kg for business rate tags, and 10 kg for each baby (under two years old).Conditions for transporting live animals and birds
  • It is possible to carry pets (dogs and cats) and birds on domestic flights of Yazd Airways.
  • Live animals, including cats and dogs, are transported with identification documents (birth certificate with vaccination date) and birds in their own cages or boxes.
  • The cage of living creatures should be large enough for the animal or bird to stand in and have ventilation holes.
  • Carrying rodents, including (rabbits, hamsters, mice, squirrels) is prohibited.
  • Transporting and delivery of pets (including rabbits, hamsters, mice, squirrels) or the mentioned birds before the flight at the airport of origin, is done only through coordination with the cargo officials at the relevant station.
• The rules and penalties for the cancellation of domestic tickets of Yazd Airways for all price tags are announced as follows:
  Cancellation of the ticket from the moment of issue up to 72 hours before the flight time including 30% penalty on the basic price of the ticket
  Cancellation of the ticket from 72 hours to 24 hours before the flight time includes 40% penalty in the basic price of the ticket.
  Cancellation of the ticket from 24 hours to 3 hours before the flight time includes 60% penalty in the basic price of the ticket.
  If the passenger cancels the trip 3 hours before the flight (NO SHOW), 75% of the basic ticket price will be charged.
  Regulations and penalties for cancellation of foreign tickets of Yazd Airways for all price tags are announced as follows:
  The return of a two-way ticket, one side of which has been used, is free, with the deduction of the one-way fare of the starting class of the flight and the taxes used.
  Cancellation from the moment of issue up to 24 hours before the flight: all flight classes are allowed with a 30% penalty.
  Cancellation within 24 hours before the flight and after that (No Show): It is possible in all flight classes with a penalty of 70%.Informs that according to this circular, all agencies and offices of air travel services are required to comply with the following in connection with the issuance and sale of tickets:
  Making a reservation and not issuing a ticket (NO TKT) before the flight will result in the cancellation of the seat and a fine according to the CRCN of Yazd Airways, and after the flight will be subject to a NOSHOW fine.
  For the request of more than 9 passengers, it is mandatory to submit a written request on the agency’s letterhead to the control unit, and if group sales are observed in the form of multiple reservations, the wrong agency is required to pay a fine.
  Any change in the TIME LIMIT included in the PNR must be done in coordination with the control unit and through the control colleagues.
  In case of request for a wheelchair or an extra seat and an unaccompanied child, it is mandatory to insert the relevant SSR.
  Entering the passenger’s personal phone number and correct national code for Iranian passengers and passport number for non-Iranian passengers is mandatory.
• Revalidation and voiding are allowed only with valid reasons only in the control unit.
  In the following cases, if the passenger does not use the flight, the full refund of the ticket is unimpeded:
  In domestic routes: delay of more than two hours or acceleration of more than half an hour applied by the airline
  In international routes: delay or acceleration of more than three hours of the flight by the airline.

It is worth mentioning that in international routes and two-way tickets in the above conditions, the calculation of refund of the second ticket coupon (systemic return route) is based on the calculation of half of the two-way route (1/2RT).
The fee for issuing domestic tickets in Yazd Airways is 5% and the fee for foreign tickets is 8% and only in cash.
