The international laws and guidelines for the travel of unaccompanied children have been compiled with the sole purpose of safety, comfort and reducing the anxiety of parents and unaccompanied children so that Yazd Airways, as the guardian of the parents and guardians of the child, provides an enjoyable trip for this group of passengers. do This service is provided for the travel of unaccompanied children from the age of 5 to 12 without the presence of parents, guardians or legal companions.
• Child under 5 years old
Yazd Company does not accept children under 5 years of age unless it is accepted by a passenger who is at least 12 years old and is able to take care of the child throughout the journey, such as admission, customs, changing planes, etc. be accompanied
• Children between 5 and 12 years old
This category of passengers are accepted without accompanying a passenger who takes responsibility for them. The child’s parents or guarantor or the person who is responsible for him, must do the travel.

The way to accompany UM at different ages is as follows:
• After checking and confirming the documents accompanying the child, a special form and UM card are completed.
• Hanging the UM card around the child’s neck at all stages of the trip
• Children between 5 and 9 years old: holding the child’s hand all the way through the airport
• Children between 10 and 12 years old: accompanying the child all the way to the airport

• Registration of special services with UM code is required when purchasing a ticket for an unaccompanied child.
• Tickets for unaccompanied children must be issued no later than 48 hours before the flight time.
• It is necessary to carry the identification documents of the UM passenger and the child’s guardian (sponsor or legal guardian) and passport, visa or residence, insurance and other additional documents for international flights.
• The child must be delivered and escorted by the parent, guardian or legal sponsor (presenting an official confirmation along with the national card to the airport reception counter is required if parents are not along with the UM).
• If the child is handed over by a relative, the official consent of the child’s guardian is required.
• It is possible to accept UM at the airport reception counter by the present companion by presenting valid identification documents if the recipient is UM’s father or mother at the destination.
• The time to be at the airport for check-in is 3 hours for international flights and 90 minutes for domestic flights.
• Due to possible delays, flight cancellation or return of the plane to the origin, the presence of the child’s companions is necessary until 30 minutes after the plane takes off from the airport hall.
• It is recommended that the child rest before the flight and bring entertainment and books during the flight.
• Paying for unaccompanied child care services is equivalent to issuing a one-way ticket for an adult on the flight route.
• Yazd Airways is not allowed to accept unaccompanied disabled, sick, anxious or nervous children.
• Avoid placing gold, jewelry, cash, additional items or any valuable items with the child without an unaccompanied child.
• The responsibility of UM during the flight and in case of emergency in order to provide a pleasant trip for the child is the responsibility of the chief flight attendant.
• At the destination airport, after checking and confirming the documents of the future person, the child will be handed over with the completed form and signature.
